so i just bought a girl flowers ($55), that i know i dont have a chance with... hmm... i think i made my one mistake of the day... i better go to bed - before something else stupid happens.

i should've spent it on a Daystar leveling kit for my truck.

wtf. how come girls have to be so... ugh... i got nothin'...

so yea, this post is pretty much useless... lol...

oh yea, i'm a 'new' member as well... 2004 F-150 FX4, just a tonneau and running bars so far... and with my stupid habit of buying girls things... it might be a while before i get anything more for it.

A dozen roses from a florist can be quite expensive. I had a dozen roses delivered to my fiances work a while back and paid $75.00 for them. The roses were $49.99 plus the delivery charge. They are not cheap nowadays.

If you signed a receipt for them, you probably couldn't do it because they have your signature as proof you brought them.

Well sure delivery is cheap but I can go buy a dozen roses for like $25

not in the cities... everything is twice as much money. sure go to the country, and things are a lot cheaper.

Oh my bad, I didn't realize I was in the Country *Cough; Urban Cowboy*. I'm going for a walk her soon and I can check the prices on a dozen roses on my way; I'll report back. :)

I buy my wife roses all the time (anywhere from 50 - 75 bucks) but, it's my wife, so the amount doesn't matter.

Damn. So I can buy pairs of roses for $1; so that's $6 a Dozen. Next thing you're going to tell me is they're not Long-Stem or something, well who cares? :) Okay, I'll go away now.

to be honest... i think i embarrased myself more than anything in this whole situation. alwell, at least i still have my truck to take my pains away.

If you have to spend $55 on flowers for a girl, then that's just not the girl for you. Any girl who matters would be thrilled with just a single rose.
I've had several dates who brought a single rose on our first date and I thought that was extremely touching.
I must have gotten easier as I've gotten older because I asked for a torque wrench for one Valentine's Day and I was thrilled!!
I tell my boyfriend now, don't buy me flowers. Geez, I'm happy with a Hershey bar and a Diet Coke.
