First time I was told to put an orang in there, I thought "Why the hell would you put an orange in beer?".......but once I did....

I tell people that look at me funny about putting an orange in it....but I explain it like this:

"Blue Moon is an unfiltered wheat ale that has a spicey flavor. I don't mean spice as in jalapeno, but as in nutmeg and cinnamon. The orange wedge adds a little sweetness that balances it out and gives it a great, even flavor."

....just as Guiness and Killians Red are draft beers, you gotta try Blue Moon on draft to fully enjoy/appreciate this beer.

I heard that it is truely a great beer on tap. I just need to find a place around here that has it. Or maybe I'll just buy a keg myself. Im sure I can make up some excuse to have a party....

I hear ya on the weird looks and comments people give when you tell them you want something in your beer. Like I said, iver had Blue moon with a lemon, but your right, with the spiced flavor of it, the orange must be awesome. Think, i'll pick some more up on the way home tomorrow

"To an Optimist, the glass is half full...
To a Pessimist, the glass is half empty...
To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be...
To a beer man, screw the glass. Where's the Keg?"

and to me, the glass is either half full or half empty depending on what's in it...mrs. zap! if it was this it would unfortunately be half empty...

Trytokeepup...I have always drank and still do, a glass or two of milk before I drink. I guess the old myth is it will coat your stomach and keep you from getting sick. Who knows if it works, maybe its just a mental thing
P.S. you need more pics in your gallery..the 99 was my first ruck. I loved that thing.
Yeah i have a bunch of pictures of it after i cleaned her up for summer. Nobody really knows this yet on here but i sold it so i took a bunch of good-bye pictures....really miss how it looked after all the mods i did. But i have a 2005 now but i dont think i can afford the mods into this thing. When i get the film back i will get some pictuers of both trucks on here. That truck was hard to let go. Loving the new one though.

stomach problems - after trying several things, found out for average person table salt is the problem - cook with the salk for your desired taste, eliminate on food after cooked, give it two months, you'll notice a big difference...mrs. zap! (let me know your results... )

AMATEURS!!!!!
First off kidney stones are caused by calcium build up or uric acid. The one way to prevent kidney stones from a dietary standpoint is to avoid the combination of tea and yellow cheeses. The tea will interact with the readily available calcium and solidify it.

If you have an elavated uric acid. You will probably have recognizeable symptoms like GOUT!! OWW!! No fun, trust me......

Drinking under age?!?!? I mean really, we all know what the law says. You can go to most foreign countries (not Canada or Mexico) and get served at any age. This is a common sense (almost) made line in the sand for LEGALITY reasons. I am around 50 years old but when my country can send a brave 18 year old soldier to his/her death and not allow them to buy/consume alcohol?? This creates a serious question in my mind. Why 21? Insurance? I think when you follow the money then the answer is clear.

Finally, my drink of choice lately is a good 18 year old scotch. I can drink myself silly and wake up just fine to deal with the day. Dalwhinnie, Glen Livet and Glenfiddich are my favorite. Someday you rookies will understand.

Go easy and be sharp.

amature - i'm 34 and have been drinking for a while - thought that was the cause of my stomach problems, but the only thing that worked without stopping drinking all together was cuting down on salt and i used to have to take antacid every week - now i haven't used the stuff for months - explain that.... mrs. zap!
