OT--oddest thing you've ever hauled
Been some heavy duty emotional posts lately; I figured we could use a little distraction to lighten things up a bit. So, the question is:
What's the oddest thing(s) you've ever hauled in the bed of a pickup truck? My top two would have to be: 1. 5 teenagers and 90 pumpkins (including 2 70-100 lber's) 2. 2 drunk fellows bound in duct tape underneath a tonneau cover (Don't ask about this one, let's just say 'fraternity') |
How about a full bed of leaves, then get on the highway and watch them all fly out.
 |
BTW - If the government wasn't so strick about killing people, I would be hauling bodies. :D

1600 pounds of steal barge pins for a 3 hour ride , made the rear look like it was a lowrider... broke two bushings in the process but the important part is i got the job i was woking on done. and on time

alright, I have a few:
1. My Snowmobile 2. Stolen Construction Cones (Note: you can't turn of those flashing lights) 3. 200 bags of Kraft JetPuff Marshmallows 4. A pallet of boxed shopping bags from one Target to another (we were short on supplies) |
Okay - this isn't weird to haul.... but what was weird was WHAT I hauled it in...
One brandnew lazyboy recliner, one sideboard and a few knicknacks to decorate sideboard with.... all in a 2002 Kia Spectra..... It was a woman/shopping thing.... |
don't let this thread die...

Lets see:
1. About a ton of reloading supplies (bullets and lead shot) to a gun show. 2. All of my belongins from one house to another. 3. Two dirt bikes and all my gear. |
Had a Tenant move out of a house few months ago and she left three green garbage cans full of shoes behind ..she had a shoe fetish ..i think that was the weirdest thing i have ever hauled

Oh... and the best one of all. Over 12, kegs of beer to keep the kegerator stocked. My only complaint with the height of the bed is lifting those bastards up into it!! :beers: |

A 16' 3 story pirate ship unassembled. It took several trips to Home Depot and Lowes to get it the raw lumber home, but now it's there and the best custom placescape for kids you ever saw.
