Hello all...

As I've recently become obsessed with owning an F-150, I began searching for a community of like minded lunatics, and it seems I've found just the place.

I've recently convinced the Commissioner, aka My Wife, aka She Who Must Be Obeyed, that it would be a good move, since presently I need to borrow a truck from my brother or dad whenever the need arises. And with home and yard projects aplenty, the need arises often. So, I've placed my 1998 Mazda Protege Hoopdie (don't laugh, she is a VERY reliable vehicle!) up for sale and the search begins.

I have in mind a '97 through '00 SuperCab 4x4 in mind. They're not hard to come by, but I must be patient as I need to sell the Mazda first, by order of the Commish.

I looked at a black '99 4x4 XLT yesterday and got a chubbie simpley being in its presence. If the dealer seemed the least bit reputable, I may have defied the Commish and made a deal, but the slime factor was high at this particular lot, so no go.

Anyway, just wanted to say "Hello" and let ya'll know a little bit about why I'm here. Hope to soon be able to post pictures of my very own F-150, however I'll spare you all pictures of my chubbie...

And for that we will be forever grateful.

Welcome aboard Kid and good luck with the hunt.

I see we both opperate under the same kind of commissioner.

Although I have found defiance of the comish in certain situations is well worth the reprimand, as in it was a deal I just couldnt pass up.

Sled...

And for this you'll want an scab or a lot of pillows for the box.

Also, being the comish myself, I think SHE should get the truck - let her test drive it (the truck boys, she's already knows all about the chubbie) and she'll be sold. I promise!

My comish was the one that bought me the SCrew, for a retirement gift, but she won't drive it unless I need her wheels for servicing. She actually hates driving the truck. (Am I lucky or what?)
