Bill O'Reilly/Michael Moore Interview

I saw on Entertainment Tonight last night that Bill O'Reilly ran into Michael Moore at the DNC this week, and he agreed to sit down and do an interview with Bill O'Reilly. I saw a quick preview of it on ET. Anyone catch this interview or know when it will be aired? That would be one worth tuning in for! :lurk:

Bill O'Reilly interview with Moore

Michael... chill dude. His name is George, not Roger.

What a gig, though. Make a living by pissing people off (without being in politics)

I saw it the other day. The master had Moore cornered and he still refused to admit that the President acted on intelligence and never lied. Moore is just a fat slob, nothing Moore. :D

I seen it and Moore went on and continued to prove he is a complete moron with absolutely NO values what so ever. The stupid nut case wouldn’t know the truth if it was sitting in an opened Big Mac wrapper…

I don't get FoxNews with my cheap cable but I'm glad to see that this is going on. I only get the "one side" of the story on my TV.

I went and read a couple other interviews. One thing I have to say is it's a sad day when so many people can be influanced by what the "Hollywood crowd" are saying. The main stream press never refutes their claims. More and more people are siding with these people who haven't got the faintest idea how the majority of us live. It's so obvious to thoes of us who feel the need to get more than one side of the story, that it's pure propaganda. Hey if Bush looses that's not the worst thing in the world. But if Bush looses and Kerry is our next president because so many people are getting their information and forming their opinions based on what the "Hollywood crowd" are saying, we really need to check ourselves. We will need a big time reality check.

IF Kerry where to win then a LOT of people will be getting reality checks, well they will see the reality in THEIR checks as Kerry and friends take a nice BIG CHUNK of it in tax hikes…

Kerry’s slogan:

"Tax hikes for everyone that works and holds a real job”

"Pay raises for the rest" (a.k.a welfare)

>>>>>>>>>>>>

Ok that safely leaves Kerry out....real job, real taxes ??...at least Bush can use a chain saw and drives his own Ford truck...Johnny Kerry is making George Bush look really good...and I'm from Canada...

I think you may be exaggerating just a bit with the Kerry taxes, he would still have to pass them through, and that probably won't happen. Regardless of who wins, life will go on, you and I will go on with our lives and be winners or losers just the same. The economy will rebound and dive like it always does. You should have invited me to see that movie with you, I could have pointed out where you were wrong  I may have had objections to you yelling at the screen though!:D

Moore was all over O'Reilly like a cheap suit.

O'Reilly usually handles himself pretty good but this time he was clearly outclassed.

Even though he rarely gives quarter, I felt sorry for him as Moore pummeled him, building up an insurmountable talking points lead.

O'Reilly ended it with "we'll just let the listeners decide who's right and who's wrong." He almost seemed out of breath as he said it.

I give O'Reilly credit for taking on Moore.
I didn't think he had the stones.

You talking about Bill right?

I didn't see it that way at all. I thought Bill had a hard time dealing with someone that lies through his teeth all for the love of money made on dead people and fantasies.

Moore is a seriously lost individual, living in a land of fantasies and make believe, he neither has a clue about reality nor the ability to accept it and understand it. His propaganda is very dangerous because it puts many innocent American life’s at risk including the little children. Moore is a terrorist supporter and he has been trying his best to aid them with his extremely misleading propaganda…

So I ask, what about the children, what about the innocent children?

The thing that bothered me most was Moore's definition of the President's "lying". He refused to admit that the Bush's actions were based on bad intelligence from different sources. That does not equal a "lie". Intelligence work is never a 100% guarantee. NEVER. (former NSA employee). Intelligence is "best guess" no matter how overwhelming the evidence may be.

The only thing I agree with him on (God forgive me) is that we did not go to war to remove an evil dictator. I cringe a little everytime that is used as a 'justification' for the war. Was it a good thing that happened? Sure. Does it justify the war? No. Do I believe the war is still justified because we acted in good faith based on intelligence? Yes. The Right just needs to stick to that explanation. Plain and simple, we were wrong and we're trying to figure a way out now that is best for everyone. It's not pretty but it's the truth.

and just a side note to get that nasty "agreed w/ Moore" taste out of my mouth...America rocks:rocker:
(I think) We're the only nation in the history of modern civilization that goes in and takes over another nation with the intention of turning it back over to the people of that land. I don't know of any other nation in history that operated this way. Everyone else always wanted to 'make it their own'.

That's a fair assessment.
I'll add to that whoever is responsible for that act should be held responsible. I consider it grounds for dismissal and intend to exercise my right to that end on November 2nd.
