Busa's
I am seriously considering buying a new Busa in the next week. Anyone have anything I might be interested in about them. How much do you think I could get a new one for? Thanks for any help guys.

Sorry, no Busa info here. All I know about them is that they are FAST! Be careful man.:fyi:
Have you considered a Harley? I like the new Dyna-Glide. Gotta get me one of those. |
GO FOR IT!!!! I had a 2000 Suzuki TL1000R but just sold it this year. 1300 GSXR Busa huh. I think new there about 12,000. My TL new was 10,000. What are you going to be doing with it. There big, a little bulky to ride but fast as h*ll. They actually handle decent for the size they look. The front faring, and the way the double pipes come out make them look bigger than they are, but there not too much heavier. If you want a sleek all around rocket, look at the new GSXR1000. But if you want to respect of having the fastest street bike out there, get the Busa.

NO CROUCH ROCKETS FOR AMERICAN's J/K
For real though. Get a cruiser. |
I want a sport bike, no cruisers for me.
I saw a GSX1000R too, i loved the black and silver one. The salesman said it would hang with a Busa until 120 or so. What are some sport bikes what would fit a tall guy fairly well. I was looking at the Busa's primarily because its a bit bigger than the average bike and it has a kick ass reputation. |

That bike is SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET. But ya, i don't really want a cruiser right now. I see my self getting one once I get a little older, but right now I just really want a sport bike. My bro is getting one too, probably a Buell Lightning or a GSX1000R so we are gonna ride around together.

Sportsters have the final drive belt on that side, same as a buell.

I don't know too much about bikes, except Busa's are real fast. I just got my first bike. Kawasaki KX250. I would eventually like to get a street bike of some sort, but I sure wouldn't start with something that fast. Do you have any experience on bikes?
Well anyway good luck and be sure to post pics of the bike when you get it, whatever you get. Oh yeah, be careful! https://www.f150online.com/galleries...6413-98675.jpg :beers: |

If you have owned a sport bike before (Or any real STREET BIKE) than by all means get a "Busa".
If you have only driven dirt bikes then stay the heck away from a "Busa". If you have never ridden on the street or owned a sport bike I wouldn't go any bigger than a 650. I have been riding on the street since 1981 and I have yet to meet anyone that started out with something bigger than a 650 (Sport bikes mainly) that hasn't wrecked &/Or been hurt real bad. Plus it's big cash to pay to drop it in the parking lot a few times getting used to it. Get a bike mag that has a spec list in it and find a bike that has the biggest dimensions for your height. And no matter what make sure you can test drive it! |
I have ridden dirtbikes since I was around 8 or 9. I have never owned a bike for the street, but I have ridden them a lot on the street.
I have ridden a Ninja ZX6R and a CBR 954R, and felt confident on both. So I'm not just learning how to ride and jumping right on a Busa. Pretty much, if I end up getting one, I dont want to have to ride a 600, take a loss on trying to resell it, then have to turn around and buy another bike. I would rather just start on what I want and take it REAL easy until I feel more experienced. I know how dangerous bikes are and I'm not in a rush to go out and kill myself. |
