Finally got my bed lights done!

Yup... There's now one 12" white cold cathode in each of the four rear pockets of the bed. I've wired in a rocker switch to turn them on/off, and a pin switch to turn them off when the tonneau is down. I love them!

The batteries in my camera died right after I took these two pictures, so I'll have to get pix of the switch and stuff tomorrow...

and yes I know the bed is dusty...

That looks cool!!

I am a big fan of lights...I have a Lund Lunar visor and rows of little blue lights down each running board under the doors. Just ordered some clear corners and I'd like to put some kind of lights on the rear...undecided there...

I would post some pictures of all this but my digital camera is TU right now and I have to send it to Sony for repairs.

Lights in the bed are wonderful aren't they. They really come in handy when you're trying to finish something late at night & need something specific out of the bed.

Thanks...

Yeah, this'll be great for just about everything. The cargo lights on the cab are worthless once you put a cover on, especially with a black truck.

Will be great for everything, camping, drive-in theater, moving, etc, etc...

and here are the switches. A rocker to turn them on/off, and pin to make sure they don't come on while the cover is down...

That is hot. I'm planning the same for my bed. You've inspired me...

I was thinking rope lights around the perimeter of the bed. Wonder if they make 12v rope lights?

That bed dzervs a 'nanner!

dzervit, you might look at the string lights the put under kitchen cabinets. Those are usually 12 voly.
