Rockpick's New Mower - The Saga Ends

Well, I finally bought a mower today...

I bought a Honda HRB216HXA. It came from Home Depot because I couldn't get the mower shop to match their price plus, I found it cheaper at another place in town and then had HD price match it.

They had it at $699 regular with it marked down to $599... The mower shop on the other side of town had it for $550 (because it is an older model and they're looking to move it. I did a little research on Home Depot's policies and learned that they have a 10% price match guarantee. AKA: you find a better price, they'll match it and give you 10% off that.

Thus, armed with a quote from the mower shop, I walked in, pushed it up to the checkout, presented the price from the competitor and they rang it up for that price and then took an additional 10% off (another $55).

So, long story short, I got a $700 mower for $495.

Here's a link: http://www.hondapowerequipment.com/hrb216hxa.htm

Again, thanks to everyone for the insight and recomendations. I tried the TORO one last time before I bought the Honda and just couldn't get myself to not have reservations thus, I jumped on the best deal... which, by far and away, ended up being this Honda.

Now that all you need is grass instead of the dirt in the last picture you posted.

LOL... in that picture, the truck makes the house look small...hahahaha...

Gotta love the vantage at which you take a picture... just looked at it myself and it looks like the truck won't fit in the garage! LOL!

You sure that garage is tall enough for the truck? Picture makes it look awful close. Hate to have to cut away some of the bedroom floor.

I'd like for the house to stand on it's own for a few years before you come over.... I'll send the invite when we're ready...

Yeah, it'll fit... I measured it about 8 times myself. I was worried to death. Don't get me wrong... it doesn't clear by a long shot and the antenna will hit the garage (guess it's time for another mod) but, it will fit.

Oh, will my truck also fit in the garage with yours or will you have to park on the street when I am over?
