Don't even start that chit cause we already proved that its cheaper to run larger pulley's then to put a nitorus kit on.

And I think my lower and upper pulley was allot easier to install then that damn nitrous system.

Question Wet Okole seat covers

CrazyFoo,
I saw the picture of your Wet Okole seat covers for your '01 Lightning in your recent post.
I too have a '01 Silver Lightning and I like the look (from what I could tell in the small picture) of your seat covers. Who did you order your seat covers from? What are the names of the colors you used? Lastly, (if you don't mind) how much did they cost and were they worth it?
Thanks,
Eric

No chit here. The last time I checked a nitrous kit was a piece of cake to install. And who said anything about cheaper? You have both pulleys you said and .05 difference is hard to swallow.

I will bet my trucks pink slip on the fact that somebody can install an upper and lower pulley faster then a nitrous express wet kit with the genX2 kit (what sal has).

upper pulley with the tools should take 1 hour to install tops!
lower pulley should take no more then 1 hour to install tops!
That nitrous kit would take longer then 2 hours to install, and thats the bottom line!

I've done them all.

No flame war, just proving a point cause everyone thinks nitrous is the easy way to get power. Well not true with a truck that already has a blower stock.

This is not worth the argument. I never said anything about install time, all I said was its to easy to go fast with nitrous. All that has to be done is have your chip programmed for it. Other than that Silver is faster

Red face L is GONE, but knowledge is here

LOL..for the last week or so, I have been getting a good laugh about this Nitrous thing going on around here. Most people that see it as cheating, are usually the slower cars or trucks with more mods in their sigs than I care to read. And then these same people started to realize that all that money wasted on other non ET producing MODS, have gone to waste.

And those that say it's too easy, really have no clue what so ever. There is more to a nitrous kit than just keeping the bottle full, and running a bunch of wires...... NOT !!

Most people dont have the time, or brain power on correctly installing a Nitrous kit. A complete Nitrous kit is a far more "reasonable" bolt-on than any other mod available, and also time consuming during install.
It is more complex, and does require certain "knowledge" skills to properly operate and maintain. I for example, researched this for over a year, day in day out. With the help of 2 certain L owners, and tons of reading, I became a true believer in Nitrous, and to make it work with a blower on a 4700 lbs. + truck...makes it that more impressive.

MY .02 Cents worth

Been away for a day or 2 and all I can say is I know chit load about nitrous since I've been running it for about 7 years on mustangs and camaro's so think before you speak and yes it is easy to play with when you know what your doing. And if you didn't check my numbers aren't slow at all short mod list and fastest on F1's
