Maintenance Schedule

I was looking through the maintenance schedule for my new truck. It definitely seems to be a low maintenance vehicle.

It seems the definition of "Severe Use" that used to be everybody has changed to "Special Operating Conditions" that doesn't affect most of us that don't tow a lot or drive on unpaved dusty roads.

If I understand; you change the coolant at 100,000 and the accessory drive belts at 150,000. The 4R70E and 4R75E transmissions need no fluid change, and the differential is lubed for life.

I got the 3.55 Limited Slip differential, and understood the limited slips require fairly frequent maintenance. But I can't even find it listed. Does that mean the limited slip is also lubed for life.

The cabin filter (if equipped) needs changing every 15,000 miles. My Taurus manual specifies it has one. Does anyone know if the F-150 has one.

Am I missing anything? Or do I have the right interpretation of the maintenance schedule?

johnboy...I can't comment on your interpretation of the maint. schedule, but the statement that "limited slips require fairly frequent maintenance" caught my attention. My '90 and '97 Ford trucks with 136,000 miles and 58,000 miles respectively had LS and required NO maintenance of the drive train. Maybe I'm out of the loop, but I've never heard of LS being troublesome.
