I decided to return the tires. I talked to them and they were very understanding since they did not mention that the lettering would be scrubbed off, or that the tires were stamped OR which from what they told me is out of round specifications. I don't need the hassle of these tires on a newer truck. They said they would reimburse my shipping also and pay for the return. I think I will wait a while and do it the way I want and not go cheep.

Bob--that is a sucess story if I ever heard one...Inferior tires can make a nice truck BAD!!!!When you are talking a 4 ton vehicle the tires are the most important part of that vehicle..

I think you made a wise decision, Do it right when you get the chance...

Good tires are a must in my book...

Some of those tires just will not balance out...

Its good that you got all your money back...

Good Deal!!!!

I'm not saying I'm going to do this nor condone it but just for my own education, what problems could be incurred when putting 315's on a 7" wheel? I would imagine that wear in the center would be a factor, but could that be offset with lower pressure? Will the tire come apart? Someone with more knowledge please inform all of us about potential problems.

Bob, be careful of underpressurization, this will heat the tire...

Alot of the people are running 315's and dont seemed bothered by running them on 7" wheels...

If you run them, make sure they have the right air in them, if it wears the middle no problem...

I would rather the middle wear then the tire shread because of insufficient air...
