turbo boost actuator

help? Can anyone tell me if there is a way to adjust when the turbo makes boost when cruising on the highway. Right now it is coming on at 72mph and I would like it to come in at more like 80mph to help mileage.

Thx, B

P.S. I have a F250 Powerstroke

I can't help, don't know if this quiet Diesel forum can; however, you might want to ask at Ford-Diesel . I'll bet you get many responses.

Weird, my doesn't hit until 3000+ RPM.

This is a good question as I am wondering as well...My boost comes in at load and that could be as low as 55-60...2-5 psi at cruising speed..

We have kicked around this topic before...Maybe activating the wastegate manually to dump the pressure...

I have been thinking about this, and I am going to do some experimenting..
