I don't know how many Grand Tour fans there are here, but this isn't the case where someone like James May tried to turn a vehicle into a fire truck. That's a little silly. But I've lived all over the country, and it's not uncommon for giant fire trucks to show up for incidents where they're not going to need water cannons to get the job done. Think sick people or fender benders. So I like that a fire department in CA is using a Super Duty as a "fire truck"—though first response vehicle might be more appropriate.
