tire size for a 2000 f250

ok, i just bought a 2000 f250 super duty extended cab long box with a v10. im wondering how big of tires i can fit without them rubbing to much. its stock height, and has the aluminum 16 inch rims. im looking at a set of **** cepek mud country 285/75/r16 and 305/75/r16. i would like to put on the larger ones but will there be clearance or rubbing issue with those?

Both of those will fit easily. I've seen several stock SD running 35x12.50's by using the stock wheels or aftermarket wheels and a leveling kit. Personally, I'd go with 35's.

They will fit, your turning limit on the pre '05s are the leaf springs though.

My thoughts are that 305s and 315s are too wide for the stock rims. Go with 285s. Or, get aftermarket wheels and go big. I have 35s with a leveling kit.
