For some quick and cheap mods. I'd black out the windows, smoke the tails, 3rd brake, cab, and mirror lights. PTM handles and mirrors would look sweet also.
Oahu is kind of like the Republik of Kalifornia when it comes to modifying vehicles. My truck is currently illegal as heck (lift and tires and tint). I have to install flares or put skinny tires on that fit inside the fenders. Previous owner was local, so Police didn't hassle and he could bypass the Safety/Reconstruction Inspections. I'm not so lucky, and I ain't paying for those tickets.

Truck already has 35% tint on windshield, and I think it's 5% tint on all the other windows. It's dark enough that I can't wear sunglasses and drive during daytime, and at night I have to lower the windows to see.

I plan on running Recon Tails/3rd brake at some point. Might VHT them for a quick effect (very light shading only though). I am not a fan really of PTM door handles and mirrors. I like the contrast they provide.

I think this weekend I'm also going to do the Headlight Bake and make my own version of the Harley Headlights.
Did this on my 2006 F-150 and it turned out great. I'll try not to break anything this time
DIY Headlight Painting
thx for the ideas

That does sound interesting. Might have to look into that. Not sure how it would work with the mirrors though. Might looks funny

I would PTM the handles, the gloss black is going to show every scratch and the handles are the most touched surface on the truck. Even my PTM handles show the scratches but I have to look closer at the Dark Shadow Gray to find them compared to my wifes black car.

Dave makes a good point, but if you go that route, PTM the mirrors gloss black too

alright, got bored tonight after putting the kids to sleep. I'm 1/2 way to making my own Harley Lights. I like contrast, so I didn't go all black like the OEM ones are.

Drivers side is all done and the sealant is curing right now. I'll do the passenger side tomorrow night.

The DIY painting was just as easy as I remembered from my 2006 F-150. here is a teaser pic since it's dark outside and I can't install until the sealant cures anyways.

You can actually fit 24" on there. Just install like any other wiper

22" gives you a bigger clean area. Easier to see IMO

maybe...i run the 22" because it's less surface friction. the 24" blades tend to hop occasionally unless the windshield is uniformly wet
