towing capacity for 5.4L 2v crewcab f-250??????

i've came across a really nice 01 crewcab 5.4L2v f-250. what was the towing capacity for the 5.4L and could i get away towing about 10,000lbs????

You could get away with it but I think the rated towing weight is only around 7,200 lbs with the old 5.4. It is not nearly as much as you would think.

10000 I've done with a F-150, so it'll do it. Just won't be as fast as the 6.8L or the diesels on the hills.
