Rear heat

I have a 2000 Eddie Bauer expy that's having alot of issues from rear axle to now cylinder #3 flooding itself. I just picked up a 2000 expy that doesn't have rear heat and is a base model. How hard to swap heat over or do I look at swapping rear axles and possible motor swap(if hole in piston) into Eddie Bauer one? The plain expy runs and drives great and was an old police vehicle so had good maintenance done.
Base expy has 200,000 and Eddie Bauer has 260,000

Swapping the heat over will be a lot easier than swapping a motor.

With those mileages, I would bank more on the police expy.
