MY New 2001
Hey Guys, new member here. Just purchased my 3rd expedition. Currently own this one I just bought, 01 Edddie Bauer and 11' Limited ( wifes).
I just picked this one up from a used car lot for $5200. Its in great shape but high miler. 181K. Everything works and it has normal wear and tear. Runs and rides great so far. The dealer I think accidently bid on on it and won it at an auction , although he did not comment. Reason I think this is because the rest of his inventory is all Mercedes and BMW. They also were fairly clueless about it. They had it listed for 6150, I offered 5200 and they jumped on it. Maybe I could have got it for less! Anyhow, it looks like it has a 6" Rancho lift and about a 2" Body lift. Running 35's .I Love it so far. I like lifted expeditions since they are not a dime a dozen like lifted PU's. My 00' was also lifted but ended up going the PU route for a few years. Well now I'm back.
Although it's running like a top right now, I forsee some issues that will come up due to the high miles. So I am sure I be on the forum with questions.
