2000 Expedition EB giving me problems...
1. Door locks/key pad/remote do not work, only can enter truck with key. whats the problem?
2. Heater issue, works but when turned on it makes thiss knocking noise coming from the passenger side. had it checked out and apparently there is a little white box thatt cost $300, what is it called?
3. Passenger side fog light, had it replaced and went outt a few days laterr. Short maybe?
Can anyone help me address thesee issues? Your knowledge and insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

might help
a short could be causing all of this. it could be a blown fuse, however i would think that the driv/pass side fog lights are on the same circuit. check the battery in key FOB. there could be elec. issue powering the factory security system (key fob and driver door keypad all communicate with this module). on my '01 EB this module is above the pedals - at about knee height if you're sitting in the drivers seat. i believe i seen 3 different modules in the area. the security system was the furthest up inside the dash. mine is grey and you can see a sticker on it with a 5 digit # (which happens to be the factory code for the keypad on the door). yours shouldnt be too different. its been a few years since i've looked up there but i think its about the size of 3 dvd cases stacked together.
i would check all fuses and any relays that might be involved.
as far as the sound from the heater, something might have fallen down into one of the vents and could be getting knocked around by the blower.
good luck
