Shift on the Fly quit working

Hey my shift on the fly 4x4 system quit working. I can stop and can engage the A4wd, 4hi, 4lo. Is this a sensor gone bad. Where do I look.

So, everything works then? Did you have shift on the fly in the first place? How are you sure it isn't working?

According to the owners manual you can shift to A4WD and 4HI till 55. I was only going 30 when I tried it. Should be the same system like in the Explorers

yea get used to it. . these systems are complete ****. . . All mine has given me is problems. . . When it FEELS like going into 4hi it will click several times, engage, then do its job. But to disengage it I have to put the switch to 2wd, shut truck off, then start back up. . .JUNK
