400 hp is about right. The stock Linconl 5.4 had 300, so 400 would be about 30 percent increase, which is just about right for 8 lbs of boost.

I only ran 6 psi on my 2006 5.4 3v...it was rated 412 HP/477 TQ at the crank...about 300 HP/370 TQ at the wheels

seems like that 4v would flow more...and have a higher bit of HP/TQ with 8 PSI

Are thos actual numbers or advertising numbers. Most centrifugal superchargers advertise a 30 to 50 percent increas in power. I think the 400 horse would be a little conservative, but withing the realm of reality.

actual #'s...Roush doesn't play HP gains. They advertise what they get.

I had the Non-Intercooled setup and the horribly safe Roush tuning...was going to get custom tunes...but never was able. then traded the truck in

Non-Intercooled on the 5.4 3v = +112 HP/TQ
Intercooled on the 5.4 3v = +145 HP/TQ

I know the Intercooled guys were/are running 330-340 RWHP...which is right in-line with what Roush says it is supposed to add...especially after you figure the 4 speed eats almost 100 HP
change that out to 8 PSI and custom tuning and the Intercooled Roush is putting down 370-380 RWHP with very safe margins

The Roushcharger is a roots type blower not a Centrifugal. Vortech only shows a 140 hp gain on the cobra at 10.5 lbs of boost. Powerdyne shows about the same on the 3v Mustangs. Historically powerdyne blowers have not been known for major power producers.

Vortech, has issues. That is why most of the PRO 5.0 guys run Procharger, or turbos.

That was 10 yrs ago, why the hell can't we have that motor now? stupid IMO

I get your setup now. I was thinking you had the 4.6 4v (Cobra motor)...wow, I'm even more impressed. But only 400 HP with 8 PSI? at the crank or wheels?
Crank. Remember, this is the orginal 32v that had a pathetic 230hp. run that through the auto tranny, 4x4 drivetrain, it had like 180 to the wheels (PATHETIC)

Its really hard to tell in that picture which year it is, the easiest ways to tell were interior, and I think 1999's had turn signals in the mirrors. The cluster was also different. If that lincoln emblem on the rear side glass is black, i think that means 1999.

As far to my knowledge, the navi only had the 32v in 98
It did have 325 pounds of torque in that year though

The 98 had the standard 5.4 as found in the Expedition. 1999 forward had the 32 valve 5.4 rated at 300 hp.

he shouldn't have, unless some one swapped it in. Of course there is no telling with Ford, they could have actually started teh 4v on teh last few 98s.
