Make sure the tailpipes exit behind the rear wheels or straight out the back. You may have to add resonators.
|
great thank! Yes they exit behind each wheel left and right! Were would the best place to install them? How long should they be? |
Did you remove the factory resonator? If so, put it back on.. If not, well.. What was wrong with the stock setup? Ecoboost or 5.slow? ha, ha..

Mitch, it looks to me like he put a whole cat-back on it.
https://www.supertruckusa.com/ford/m...-50l-v8-engine Now that I looked it up, it looks to me like it already has a resonator, and it's for a 5.0. |
Yes I installed a catback, v8 5L didn’t touch anything from the cat to the front! Friend had mentioned to install additional resonator etween front pipe and muffler? Other said after muffler! |
Was looking up nodrone! Seems to me they show I should install a j pipe as close to the front as possible and long! Looks to be a solution! Does anyone have any other ideas that work! Please share! Tks |
I had drone issues with the FlowMaster setup, added a 28" long glasspack ahead of it and some weights and cured my drone issue.
