Headers?

I've done the whole search button thing, and think i found what i needed. I'm going to be going with the Pacesetter longtubes. I have a 97 4.6l, 4x4. Here's what i've found, i just want to make sure its what i need.

Headers - Pacesetter 70-2226:
Says 99-03, but i've read these will fit best here in the forum.
http://www.andysautosport.com/ford/1...s00034859.html

I know i need header bolts/studs, but i dont know what ones i need. Help here will be much appreciated.

I'm also replacing the EGR valve (root of the evil), and the tube that runs from the header to the EGR. I found the right EGR valve, and i believe the right tube aswell through rock auto.

I'm also doing a full exhaust; True duals with high flows (Magnaflow 94106? correct me if wrong), and dynomax bullets most likely. I think also if i read somewhere, i need to extend the O2 sensor lines? ANy input on this, and the item needed would be great aswell.

Thanks in advance

I can vouch for the Stage 8 locking kit, as I have used it on my header project, and they are the way to go. I also used, and recommend, BBK O2 extensions. The part number escapes me at the moment, but I got mine from Summit, as well.

No Y-pipe? BTW the collector on the headers is 3" O.D. so you will have to reduce down to the 94106. I used 94109 for my converter cause it is 3" I.D. and slippped perfectly onto the collector. If I did it again I would have band clamped the converter to the collector (walker SS 3" band clamp) just in case a converter fails or you need to remove something. They cant be removed with the converters on as you have to go in from the wheel well IIRC. I used the BBK extensions and they are just fine. The number 5 or 6 primary tube, on mine, is at too sharp an angle to fit an appropriate bolt into so I just left it empty...you'll see when u install. If u check my gallery you'll see I used a brass adapter for my EGR tube, which happens to be a Dorman replacement. I wanna say 3/4 to 5/8. The locking bolts are not necessary and rather cumbersome to deal with especially given the room you have to work with but Im sure you could get them to fit. The Pacesetter bolts are long and work great but make sure to clean and re-tap the header holes for ease of install. Also take some paint stripper and remove the crappy shipping paint and spray with a high temp header paint because these mild steel headers WILL rust. Personally I wouldn't bother with true duals either. Have fun GL!

One more thing pay very close attention to the frame rail/cross member on the driver side. One of the primary tubes (cant remember which) comes into contact with the frame ever so slightly and occasionally causes a rattle.
