exhaust ideas?

so i just bought a '12 f250 6.2 and im wanting to put something on there, semi quiet (anyone that knows me knows my previous trucks have made some noise ) and i want a nasty sound and also want it to get the most power as i can. i have looked online and it looks like banks has a full exhaust kit and it is 3.5". what would be better, true duals in whatever size or run a single 3.5"? im going to keep the tailpipe exit in the stock location, either with one tip or possibly Y it into 2 tips (kinda like a raptor) if i run a single. but looking under the truck it looks like it comes with 2 converters, then a muffler, then a resonator, then the huge muffler. im sure by taking all that off it will run better (already runs great)

Hell I would keep it single 3". Mandrel bent, SI/DO Pro-XS 19" body, 2.5" tails. It may be a 6.2L, but its still pushing a mammoth of a body, and likes low end torque.

Ty I must say, i'm not too fond of this newer grown up adult you. First you get tired of loud, then you go and get a 6.0L PSD, now, a 2012 6.2L SD....... Dude, w/e.

We all have to grow up sometime! Haha, I got rid of the 6.0 because it kept leaving me stranded!

I do not know the OEM size on a Super Duty 6.2, but, any small block V8 will run great on a 3" exhaust. My little 5.4L loves it, and my ears love the deep well modular toned Ford sound.

pretty sure it is 3". thats why i was wondering if i should run it all in 3.5" or not, that is what i have seen aftermarket kits in.

Hmm. I would say see if there are any non-doctored up dyno proven numbers to see if it helps gain any power from 2000 - 3000rpm. Thats about where a towing vehicle usually stays. Then decide from there, I still say 3" for now.
