Hello!

Sadly - no.

Honestly - only a disciplined right foot, and Exemplary maintenance will result in consistent mileage improvements.

Duals allow you to:

- have bragging rights
- lighten yer wallet
- look & sound cool
- blend in with all the other rednecks south of the M-D line

Seriously though, I'm in the middle of an exhaust project and with all the homework
I've done (and these guys will vouch for me that I've done it), I've discovered our trucks benefit best from a simple, high quality balanced system with goal being mainly sound and looks. True duals will only cost money and low end torque.

True. Unless all you paid was $150 for the pipes and labor, and you're tuned for it.

Although, if I lost any low end torque in between the duals installation and custom tuning, it was so minimal I couldn't tell it in the butt-dyno or pulling the boat.

Yeah I almost went true duals with an X pipe in the beginning but then I realized.....no matter which way I slice it, this will forever and always be a PICK UP TRUCK with a V8 and lots of weight....just get a big midpipe and SIDO Magnaflow of some kind and go with it. Save yourself some $$$ and just get a simple set up.

I also said on "our" trucks…i.e. '97-'03 2V 5.4 motors.
