Cat's breaking down

I have a 2004 SCREW 4x4 stock I have enjoyed this ttruck greatly, I hear a rattling it sounds lik one of the heat shields is loose, all of them are tight some said it could be one of the CAT's starting to break down.
I want to keep the same STOCK sound, what can I do?:coffee:

It is not likely to have the cats failing on a truck younger than 10yrs old unless your block is running rich. Verify that it is your cats and if so, figure out if you are running rich, and replace the cats with Magnaflow #94306 cats and keep your stock muffler.
