2011 F150 XLT 5.0 Dual Exhaust

My wife and I just picked up her 2011 F150 SuperCrew today. It has the 5.0 in it. It goes in to the shop tomorrow for a dual 2 1/2 in exhaust into a dual inlet/outlet magnaflow muffler 90ed behind the rear tires. I will post videos after its done.

The muffler does have an internal x pipe. after going to the exhaust shop they said the can't modify my factory exhaust before the y pipe to run duals. i called the local ford service center for clarification and they told me if i modify the y pipe it will void my warranty. I reordered my muffler for a 3 in single inlet dual 2.5 in outlets, should be in by tuesday next week. Side note: only reason i am ordering a muffler is because the exhaust shops in hawaii only seem to carry flowmaster, dynomax or borla and I wanted a magnaflow muffler. I will post videos as soon as I can get it done

They'll void the entire warranty or just exhaust related warranty issues?

they were vague on what or how it will void the warranty. i ordered the new single inlet dual outlet muffler 2nd day air from summitracing. It should be here tuesday and the truck will be going in wed. I love the growl the truck has stock, but am dieing to hear it with a set of pipes.

I like how the stock system sounds too. Really gives it character.

UPS dropped off the muffler tonight at 9pm. The truck goes in tomorrow for its exhaust upgrade. Using a magnaflow muffler single 3 in inlet and dual 2 1/2 in outlets 90ed behind each tire. I will post videos afterwards.
