exhaust suggestions. something loud, deep and mellow

i want new exhaust on my truck

ill list what i want, and hopefully you guys can give me some suggestions

i have to pass emmissions so this is what i was thinking unless i can do it without cats

I want side dump in FRONT of the rear wheels

I want a deep mellow rumble that i can hear good ridding around 45

thinking hiflow maggies

2.5" pipping

mufflers up in the air but i for some reason like borla

super 40's sound good too

so do you guys think this is gonna give me what i want???

Loud and mellow don't really go together if you ask me. From what you're describing, I'd look into Magnaflow mufflers. They sound almost exactly like what you're describing. I guess the 11" muffler would be the one for you. Don't quote me, Darren will be along soon and can point you in the right direction. (When are they going to start paying this guy as their spokesperson??) Don't mess with your cats if you have emissions, it's not worth the effort. (Besides, high flows are going to make your truck noticeably louder and a little raspier.)

you say don't mess with my cats. i forgot to mention that right now i have stock from mani to ypipe then a gutted muffler (shouldn't have gutted it was louder before) SI/DO then ?corner? exit exhaust.

and it sounds ok. not loud enough. cant even tell its runnin at idle

Sounds like you want the Magnaflow 16616 cat-back. Or if you prefer to build your own version, 14" round body, or 11" body Magnaflow muffler(s) would sound good with your choice of tips.

 Maybe one day. Correct with what you said too but, you can have hi-flow cats with emissions, just as long as you have the correct amount of cats, such as, if it came with two it needs two, if it had 4 it needs 4.

i agree with the super 44 dumped with 94106 hi flows :)

so i think im gonna go with some LT headers, high flow maggie's, super 40's, and an X pipe.

i don't want it annoying loud but i want to be heard. you guy's think that will be loud enough??
