$200, pretty good deal. Are you going to take it somewhere to get welded up or is it held together by clamps?

Mr. eXtreme Oct 21, 2008 09:16 AM

Going to install it with a buddy tonight using clamps for now and see how it holds up...

If it looks like I should have it welded then I'll take it to a shop...

Part of the reason I bought this kit was so I could do the work myself!! :rocker:

It came yesterday everything is there and in good shape.
So we'll see how it goes tonight!!

I'm just hoping that I made the right choice going with the 12258
18x5x8 Magnaflow... I didn't want it to Loud but I do want to hear it...

It should be a pretty straight through exhaust install, should not run into any problems and have a good easy time. The only PITA should be getting the OEM muffler out from the one clamp up in front.

The muffler you have will be perfect.

Mr. eXtreme Oct 21, 2008 10:05 AM

Awesome!!

Any tricks I should know as to getting the factory muffler out of that clamp?

Use Thrush lubricant or WD-40, let it sit 30mins - 1 hour or so prior to doing the work, time and patience it will come out. If all else fails, sawzall that b***h out :rocker:

Dont forget to spray the rubber hangers.

Mr. eXtreme Oct 21, 2008 10:53 AM

I'll run with plan A...

And like you say if that fails...

Plan B could be FUN
