Super44's

Got it today and threw the muffler on at lunch. I must say I love the sound. I don't have the tailpipes on yet cuase I didn't follow the intsruction properly and I cut about a foot further back than I should of so I picked up a 1ft pc of pipe on the way back from lunch and will put the tail pipes on tonight. It sounds mean as hell at idle, and not loud at all, even with no tail pipes, I am very please, just wish I would have cut in the right spot so I wouldn't have to put a new piece of pipe in

I have a new 2007 F150 FX4 Flareside with the 5.7L 3 valve. I will get a sound clip up as soon as it breaks in a little and I have time to do it.

Thanks,
Greg

My exhaust guy has been so impressed with the sound of the super 44's that he decided to stop stocking the 40's and super 40's and only stock them. I've heard them on just about every install he's done and I can say they sound sweet. They even sound good on 6 cylinders. I loved the way they sounded on my h-d but they just killed the power.

How much drone do you get in the cab from your Super 44s? Thanks.

when i first put it on, there was a small drone under light acceleration. now after 1500 miles its barely there at all. can barely hear it cruising on the highway untill you step on it. Flowmaster incorprated their "delta flow" technology in this new muffler so its louder then the 40 series outside yet much quieter in the cab. But right when you first get it, you may have a little drone.

it would sound awesome! use 2.25" piping with an X pipe and run it out the back, you will be so happy with the sweet tone and sound output.

i just figured out how to use my cameras video method so ill post a clip tomorrow if i can.
