it depends on what muffler that you use and if you do true dual or si/do. If u do true dual it will probaly cost you around 400 or so. and si/do would probaly be around 300. The tips you use also can make a price difference or if you just dump it.

True duals would probaly be louder since you would have two mufflers versus one.

i just had a flowmaster si/do installed with 4inx18in chrome tips for $310 taxes and all. the magnaflow setup was the same price and is supposedly twice as loud. the flowmaster is perfect for me, growls when you are on the gas but when cruising you can barely hear it.

If you want your truck to really scream and turn heads run true duals with 2.5 inch pipe and use 10 series flowmasters and dump them at the axel.
Here is the link for the 10 series http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/10_race.html
I would not buy them direct from flowmaster because they will cost more. But you could get them off ebay for about 70 a peice or see if your muffler shop will order them.

anywhere from $200 - $500 depending on the setup, True Duals with Flowmaster 40s I would suggest

oh yeah, deeper & it echos the deep tone at a much greatewr distance. My F250 with the Flowmaster si/do can be heart about 1/4 mile away going up a hill at 3500rpms, theres this nice Hemi Dodge with a True Dualed system ( dont know what mufflers I only was able to look under it once and it was muddy ) and I can hear that truck from like 3/4 to a full mile away. Once he drove past me at a redlight and I had my music up & heard him pass, true dual is definatly the way to go

btw, sorta off topic but judging by ur name do you happen to own a '96 - '97 Camaro SS with a LT1 engine?

On my 97' F-150 5.4, I run true duals with no mufflers. To me this is the loudest and cheapest setup. Around $200.
