Differnece between Flowmaster 50 Series and 50 Series SUV ?

Sound about the same on the web site.

It,s a little longer for plug and play with the hangers

Oh, its for fitment? Not a sound effecting difference?

Thanks.

The longer the muffler, the quieter it is. For flowmaster, 40s are louder than 50s, 50s louder than 70s, etc... SUVs are also bigger and quieter.

[edited to fix my brain lapse]

suds5.4 I think you got that backwards. For Flowmaster the higher the number the quieter the muffler.

Quote from Flowmaster website ....

The Flowmaster Sound is offered in many different tones depending upon the muffler series. From the deep, aggressive tone of the 40 Series to a quiet and subtle, but unmistakably rich Flowmaster tone of the 70 Series, you will find the right application of performance and exhaust sound you want.

You can check out soundbites for each series of mufflers here.

Good luck.

Oops, that's what I meant to say. I'll edit it now.
