2008 Ford Fusion Sport, 54k with rare manual transmission
This is the actual car and I took these pics about two hours ago. Except for the one at the bottom. I took that one on 28 Aug 2008 when I bought the car from Fuller Ford while living in San Diego.
So I'm selling my Fusion... It has the SAP, Sync, interior ambient lighting, leather, and a few tasteful mods. Nothing stupid though. Adult owned and driven. I'm located in Virginia Beach, VA.
So a few other things about the car. . .
- 54,000 miles
- 2.3L 4-cyl engine with 5-speed transmission
- Sport package (spoiler, 18" wheels, monochromatic paint, brushed aluminum interior trim, leather seats with red stitching, sport-tuned suspension)
- Black (aka "Dark Charcoal") interior
- Ambient lighting package (interior LED lighting that you can change the color on with the push of a button; illuminates front and rear floors, cup holders, and center console)
- Ford/Microsoft Sync system
- Infinity Kappa speakers (component in the front, 2-way in the rear; sounds
amazing!)
- Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval tires with plenty of life left
- KW/Eibach Pro suspension (installed less than a month after buying the car for drastically improved handling and a sportier stance; Firm, but not stiff; looks like it came from the factory until you park next to another Fusion)
- Magnaflow exhaust system (installed three days after buying the car for a sporty, yet mellow tone)
- Black Chrome upper and lower mesh grilles (can remove the Ford emblem, but I wear it with pride!)
- 3M Window tint (Virginia legal; 50% front/35% rear)
- Sylvania Silverstar Ultra headlights (high and low beams), driving/fog lights, turn signal, and reverse lights
- 5-year alignment from Merchants tire in late 2010 or early 2011, you can just use my information to retain it
- Mobil1 Synthetic oil used since its first oil change at 500 miles. Only Motorcraft or NAPA Gold filters used.
- Virginia state inspections done at Beach Ford since moving to Virginia in 2010 (has 05/14 inspection sticker). Passes every time and always gets complimented by the service staff and mechanics.
- New platinum ceramic rear brake pads and rotors replaced last May. The pads weren't completely worn out, but I'm meticulous in maintaining the car and always replace rotors when doing the pads. The Front brakes are original and have at least another year on them, but I may replace them upon request.
- Gold battery replaced last year (have receipt for 7-year warranty)
- K&N lifetime air filter installed at 36,000 miles (never needs replaced, only cleaned every 36,000-50,000 miles)
- Garmin navigation with up-to-date map software will be included, because I'll tell the wife I lost it and then I can get a new one (shh...)
- Never smoked in and doesn't stink of air fresheners. Just the sweet aroma of leather.
- Worth noting: I have a strict "no pets or young children" rule about my cars. So if you're looking for dog hair, cheerios, and mysterious sticky substances, there are none. Just ask my friends with kids or dogs, they'll tell you that I'm a **** for not letting them in my car. And that's fine by me!
I have the title in hand. Also have an Autocheck report for the car (like Carfax, but better). The car needs nothing. Only serious inquiries please. If you don't know how to drive a manual, I'll be happy to teach you after you've bought the car. Otherwise, there will be no test drives for people unable to operate a manual. But I'll be happy to do test rides. When you see how meticulously I've maintained this car and the condition it's in, you'll understand why I'm still protective of it.
