I own a F-150 2/wd 99 Super cab. Where is this harness exactly located if it was there. What color is the plug. Can this be used for driving lights. If I were to remove the head light switch what color wires would I be looking for if there was a fog light circut wired into the switch.

Foglights Wiring Harness

I had a 2000 Expy with out the foglights. I took the dashboard apart and there was no extra wiring harness behind the headlight switch for the foglights and no extra wires in the harness for the headlights. I also looked in the underhood fuse/relay junction box and the relay socket for the foglights did not have contacts in it. And there was no takeout from the main harness for the fog lights. You can buy a foglight kit from Ford ( and get the poor function factory fog lights ) or buy an aftermarket light kit and buy whatever lights you want.
