Truck Won't Start
I have a 1999 F-150 Supercab Lariat with a 4.6 engine. I bought the truck used (from a lease) with 19,000 miles on it. Since owning the truck it has refused to start for me 3 times. Once at 21000 miles, again at 24, 087 miles and now again at 24,448 miles, less than 400 miles from the last episode. The dealer says that it's "JUST ONE OF THOSE THINGS". BULL........
THIS TRUCK IS NOT DEPENDABLE. I have no other electrical problems. When it does this the enging cranks over wonderfully, I just have a fuel problem. When I opened the valve on the engine where the line goes into the injectors, there is no fuel pressure. The first time it did this it sat at the dealers lot after being towed there on saturday and monday morning it started. NO CODES show up on their computer. Does anyone have any suggestions other than junk it? Please help. Thanks, jesnodgrass@spitfire.net |
Replace the fuel pump relay.....
