The ad I have seen on the net shows that the cool blues have a really blue tint to them compared to a standard type halogen. Are they really that blue like the ad shows?????

I know that the light is really not blue but a bright white. Look at this link,http://www.dawn-ent.com/coolblue1.htm, the cool blue bulb headlight does have a blueish tint to it. Just wandering if you will get this type of effect or not by installing them on a F150.

Look at the standard halogen vs cool blue comparison on the link I posted, it doesn't look blue at all, and it is Sylvania's website. I also know for a fact they don't have a bluish tint when installed, my bud bought some for his F150 thinking they would (misleading marketing on their behalf if you ask me) and was very disappointed when he got nothing but whitish light. As for actual light output we can see very little difference between those and the factory bulbs.

BTW, that link doesn't really work either but I found them, don't you hate false advertising?

 

Hmmm.. lets see. Blue, nope. Brighter, sort of, not really. Marketing major? You betcha!! (Not really, but it was fun to say anyways. I'd never major in marketing and rip people off in this lifetime. (Or the next))
