New battery and alternator? Still not charging battery light on?
Here's a quick fix. The cables coming off your battery run to your firewall. You'll see two black strips. With bolts on each end. Run a piece of copper wire from one bolt to the next horizontally not vertically. Leave them on. This is not for jumping this is going to be a permanent rig job. If it works you can go to the auto parts in order the right part there's numbers written on it .You're welcome.

I've moved this thread to the electrical section, but it doesn't really make sense. What vehicle are you talking about? My truck does not have the wiring you describe and my older F150 didn't either.
I THINK in your post you are saying the "bolts" serve as grounding connections to the chassis of the vehicle, and to run a copper wire from one end bolt to the other - possibly to improve the grounding path? If so, this is NOT a good fix.
