Cranks but no start

2002 Ford F-150 5.4 triton
Sometimes it starts and runs perfect, sometimes it starts but idles is low and dies, sometimes it doesn't start at all, sometimes it starts , then after driving it won't start again. Odometer light goes in and out, can solder joint in cluster cause this?

There are no dtc codesIf it was a fuel pressure issue wouldn't it be all the time?

How many miles on it?

Has the fuel filter been changed on it?
