Recharging Dead Truck Battery and Factory PowerCode Alarm?
My 2010 has been stored outside for last 2 months under a good car cover and on this battery maintainer:
Well truck battery is dead now and when I attached a 12V charger the alarm went off, it eventually stopped but I get 4 horn chirps when pressing the Lock or Unlock on the 6 button PowerCode fobe.
It's been charging over night but I'm not sure if I need to perform a specific action prior to starting the engine?
Do I remote start or with key?
Should I put it in Valet mode prior to starting remotely or with key?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

This morning I unplugged the charger and plugged in the block heater (it's freak'n cold here in Ontario). I also got under the cover and into the truck to find the override button under the dash. The PowerCode LED was blinking rapidly, I pressed the override, horn chirped 4 times, blinking stopped.
Next we'll see what happens when I attempt to start it tonight.

I routinly keep the batteries in my other vehicles maintained by regularly trickle charging and reconditioning them one of which is going on 14 years. I screwed up on this one should have removed it and kept it inside knowing the truck was going to be stored outside this winter, live and learn.
