Power Window Issue

Hello Everyone,
Have an issue that the old "search" function wasn't able to resolve. The issue I am having is this:

Passenger rear window will roll down but not back up. When holding the switch up there is no noise at all.

Driver master switch for the passenger rear window does not roll down or up, also making no noise. All other windows work perfect from all switches.

Things I have done to try and resolve:

Removed switch and hooked up another working switch with same result.

Cut into lines and verified motor worked both up and down by hooking cable directly up to battery.

I believe the fault is the master switch on the driver door because the wiring runs through it, however I wanted to verify before I ran to pick-n-pull to make that purchase. Is there any other tests I should be testing before I purchase that? I do have a multimeter but don't know enough about the wiring to really be able to test anything. Thanks for any help!

Thanks

You have verified the motor is good, nice diagnoses step

I think you have the correct idea on looking towards the driver's switch.

1. Check for + VDC, at the passenger rear door switch on the yellow w/ light green stripe wire, with the key in the accessory or run position.
- You should use a known good ground and then the Yellow w/ black stripe and Red w/ Black stripe wires.

Ground and power both come from the driver's switch. Power from the lock switch is the yellow w/ light green stripe wire. The ground is from either of the traveler wires noted above, when the driver's switch is in the "at rest" position.

If that tests good, it is back to the switch on the offending door.
- You have + VDC and ground to the door.

If not, time to find which one is giving you grief.

From the description you give I am expecting the yellow w/ black stripe wire is going to test no good.

If my SWAG is correct, time to test for continuity from the driver's door to the rear door with a meter, to see if the wire is broken.

If the wire tests good, time to check the test the switch itself.
