2003 4.6L Vacuum Gauge Install
Originally posted this in V8 section, but moved here...
Planning to install L cluster with boost cauge - just wondering where to connect vacuum tube (I'm planning to use regular nylon tubing). Old thread from V6 section (https://www.f150online.com/forums/v6...uum-gauge.html) suggested using a capped T-connector behind battery. I would assume it's this connector in my truck - correct? https://www.f150online.com/forums/me...um-install.jpg |
With the engine idling, pull the cap off the T. If the idle rises & you feel strong vacuum there, temporarily connect the gauge. It should show 18-22" of vacuum.
