Power Window Delays...

I've been searching around the forums, trying to answer a question but haven't found a specific answer yet. Hoping someone can help me...

My 2006 5.4 crew cab drivers front window will roll down fine, but has a delay when rolling back up. I'll press the button, and it'll take about three seconds for the window to respond. My question is, does this sound like the motor is going bad? Or does it sound like something else? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I believe I had the same problem about 4 months ago and was about to by a new switch and found a thread about removing your window switch and cleaning the contacts. Possibly check under the how to's.

That is how mine started out, short delay on the up and after some time the delay gets longer and longer.

Technical Articles section has a thread on cleaning the switch.

The SuperCrew switch was ~ 65.00 online, as another option.
