Wiring question for KC's

Hi Everyone,

Been a long time since I posted. Got a question. One of my KC lites on my Manik brush guard keeps flickering. I'm going to re-wire the whole setup anyway... but I'm thinking heavier gauge wire... such as #10. My "hot" wire from the battery to the relay gets really hot after I've had the KC's on for a while. Will heavier gauge wire help?

Kindest regards,

Heavier gauge wire will definitely help! The lower the wire gauge size - the less voltage the wire will drop and thus less heat will be dissipated. This link has some good information for automotive lighting wiring and voltage drops.
