03 s-crew code 32

alright, from everything i've gathered correcting a code 32 is gonna involve replacing the clock spring. i've come to terms with this, and will just have to bite the bullet and do it. question is, for those who have done it, does anything have to be reset once the replacement is complete? will the light automatically go off afterward and all functions resume normal, or will i have to have it reset by a mechanic? i really want my cruise and horn back.

thanks,

-Dustin

stuff like that tests itself on start up, and should resume normal operation, but will probably still have the code stored internally.

You will need a special puller to get the steering wheel off. other then that its just nuts and bolts
