This diagram is for the wiring change after the ramp modification, but will work for what you are looking for.
Don't know if you want to have the parking lamps on to be able to turn on the fog lamps, or if hot in run position is what you are looking for.
The yellow wire on the back of the main headlamp switch goes to the fog lamp relay. If you install a switch off this wire to the parking lamp ( brown wire ) that would allow you to turn the fog lamps on, but the parking lamps would need to be to do it.
If you want hot in run position, use an add-a-fuse in the CJB ( aka Central Junction Box, Cab fuse panel ) radio fuse slot, and the added circuit ( with a 1 A fuse ) to the switch, and then to the yellow wire. This would allow the fog lamps to be turned on any time the key is in the run position.
Gave both routes, not sure which function you wanted.

This is the physical modification of the factory switch, along with the changes above to do what you are looking to do ( pull the fog lamp switch out when in the park position ).
This is the thread I have on the topic

Your toggle switch method is much easier route, and quicker to install
