Wiring Driving Lights with High Beams
I've never done any lighting or wiring before and I need some help. I have some Hella 500 Driving Lights but I dont have the wires that are supposed to come with them. I need to know exactly what I need to buy to wire them to come on with the high beams. I also need to know how to actually wire them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Mac

You will need to get the diagram for the lamps, to know which is power and ground at the light head. This can be different per manufacture.
Simple wiring diagram : https://www.f150online.com/galleries...028-188033.jpg In your case, substitute the switch for a connection to the high beam wire on the headlamp. On a 2001 MY truck, this is light green w/ black stripe wire at the bulb socket on the back of the headlamp. All this can be done in the engine compartment, so it should be easy. Thanks for the diagram. what exactly do i need to buy? I don't know what kind of relay, fuse, or wire. Thanks, Mac
