Wifes Car won't stay running
 

My wife’s 1995 Mercury Sable GS wouldn’t start this morning. It ran just fine yesterday. I jumped it and it fired up for a couple minutes and quite. I jumped it again and it fired up and ran for a couple more minutes and quite. The battery is about three years old and that’ probably it. I always thought that once you got them jumped a good alternator would keep it running. The other thing is that the door open with the key in the ignition buzzers are making weird inconsistent sounds and I could here the fuel pump clicking. Is this because the battery is dead? I think it’s just jealous because I bought a new truck and it want’s some attention
