That horn doesn't sound right.

I have a '95 F150 4x4, bought it not to long ago, and just noticed that the horn sounds like it belongs on a "grannymobile". When I first gave the horn a try I couldn't stop myself from laughing because of the highness of the horn, it just does not sound like a horn that should be on that truck. So is that the way it is supposed to be or is there a way to fix it?

Check to make sure there is not 2 horns (High & Low) Make sure the low is working. there should be just one wire that plugs into it. That is the hot it grounds through the body. Youu can run a jumper to it straight from the battery and it should blow it does not then check the ground connection (where its bolted to the radiator support) If it is clean and good then replace the horn.

Hope this helps
