I was wondering if anyone out there knows how to modify the navigation system in a 2003 Ford Expedition EB.

I want to be able to have my passenger enter in an address or look for local Points of Interest while WE ARE DRIVING the vehicle. Currently, adding a new address or POI is locked out if the vehicle is in motion.

My last navigation system allowed this. I understand that the manufacturer put this in as a safety "feature" but it makes the system less likely to be used.

Does anyone know how to do this?
