Window wasn't working yesterday.....should I take to dealership?
Yesterday, my driver's side power window wasn't working. I rolled it down, but then it wouldn't roll back up. Then, last night it started working again, and haven't seen any problems since.
Should I take it to the dealership because of this, or not? |
Offroad,
Check the switch. The arm rest just pops off from the front. You can unplug the driverside switch and test it with the passengers side one. I had to replace mine after my truck was broken into. If it's the switch it will take about 5 mins to change. Also the panel is easily removed. It is held in by 2 screws. One in the back window post and in the door panel behind the door handle. You can check for loose wiring. Good Luck |
Thanks for the info. I actually set up an appointment tomorrow at the dealership. If I'd a known, I wouldn't of done that. Oh well, it's still under warranty. I just hope they don't give me hell about the supercharger.

Outdare-
I ended up sleeping in too late, so I never made it to my appointment. I'll try what you said once I get some time. Thanks again. |
